Answer:

The Small and Micro Business Support Programme (SMBSP) offers a one-off payment of £500 to support the business in recruiting eligible apprentices.

What companies/employers are eligible?
This support is available if you:

Mae’r Rhaglen Cymorth i Fusnesau Bach a Micro yn cynnig un taliad o £500 i gefnogi’r busnes i recriwtio prentisiaid cymwys.

Pa gwmnïau/cyflogwyr sy’n gymwys?
Mae’r cymorth yma ar gael i chi os ydych:

  • Employ 49 or fewer employees;Yn cyflogi 49 neu lai o gyflogeion;
  • Have not recruited an apprentice or a Jobs Growth Wales participant during the last 2 years;Heb recriwtio prentis neu rywun o dan Twf Swyddi Cymru yn ystod y 2 flynedd ddiwethaf;
  • Your recruit is aged between 16 and 24 at time of recruitment;Mae eich recriwt yn 16–24 oed ar adeg y recriwtio;
  • Your recruit must be enrolled upon a Foundation Apprenticeship (Level 2), Apprenticeship (Level 3) or Higher Apprenticeship (Level 4) framework;Rhaid bod eich recriwt wedi ymrestru ar fframwaith Prentisiaeth Sylfaen (Lefel 2), Prentisiaeth (Lefel 3) neu Brentisiaeth Uwch (Lefel 4);
  • Your recruit must have a contract of employment for at least 25 hours per week;Rhaid bod contract cyflogaeth gan eich recriwt am 25 awr yr wythnos o leiaf;

The payment will be made once the apprentice has completed the first 10 weeks of their learning programme.

Caiff y taliad ei wneud wedi i’r prentisiaid gwblhau 10 wythnos gyntaf eu rhaglen dysgu.
Mae’r taliad yn rhodd tuag at unrhyw gostau a ysgwyddir ac nid yw felly yn dod o dan amodau’r Dreth ar Werth (TAW). .
